Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all quotes, design work and print orders supplied by North East Printing Services ("NEPS", "we", "us") to you, the customer. By approving a quote or a proof you agree to these terms.

Quotes

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise and are based on the specification, quantity and artwork described at the time. Changes to the specification, quantity, artwork or delivery may change the price. Prices exclude VAT where applicable and delivery unless stated.

Artwork and proofs

• You are responsible for checking proofs carefully, including spelling, content, layout, colours and sizes. Once you approve a proof, we cannot accept responsibility for errors that were present on it.
• We check supplied artwork for common technical issues free of charge, but this is not a proofread of your content.
• Colours can vary slightly between screens, proofs and printed items, and between different print runs, stocks and finishes. Exact colour matching can't be guaranteed unless agreed in writing.
• You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, all text, images, logos and other material you supply, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break any law.

Design work

Design fees cover the work and the number of revisions described in your quote. Additional changes may be charged. Final artwork files are released once the design work has been paid for in full.

Production and delivery

• Production starts once we have your approved proof and, where required, payment.
• Delivery dates are estimates. We'll always do our best to meet them, but we are not liable for delays caused by couriers or events outside our control.
• Quantities may vary slightly (typically up to 5%) due to the nature of the print process.
• Please check your order on arrival and tell us about any damage or problem within 5 working days.

Cancellations and returns

Because printed products are made to your specification, they can't be returned simply because you've changed your mind. If you cancel after production has started, you'll be charged for work completed and materials used. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Faulty items

If something we've supplied is faulty or doesn't match the approved proof and specification, tell us within 5 working days with photos and, where possible, samples. We'll reprint the affected items or give a refund. Our liability is limited to the value of the order concerned.

Payment

Payment terms are shown on your quote or invoice. New customers may be asked to pay in full before production. We may charge interest on overdue accounts as allowed under UK law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
